  • Position Description

    **Active TS/SCI w/ Poly required**



    • Participate in Government management meetings
    • Gathering/refining/statusing requirements
    • Providing status of projects, programs, dataflows, and customer concerns
    • Support the Dataflow management team (an external organization)
    • Review all quarantines within the last 24 hours
    • Analyze root cause of quarantine, Identify if it is a valid quarantine to a false positive, and Formulate a resolution to the quarantine issue
    • Conduct Technical Exchange Meeting (TEM) soliciting data use and customer mission
    • Create a dataflow obligation
    • Participate in weekly and ad-hoc meetings with Architecture, development, and internal Engineering meetings
    • Participating in daily stand-up meetings briefing the current status of Engineering effort and tasks
    • Assign and provide guidance to Engineering personnel on executing tasks within the allotted schedule


    • Twelve (12) years System Security Engineer experience (B.S. in Technical Management or Computer Science may be substituted for four (4) years of experience)
    • CISSP Certification
    • Six (6) years experience guiding a system or solution in accordance with DCID 6/3 and documentation process
    • Eight (8) years experience in mission assurance practices, to include system security design; defense-in-depth/breadth; principles of IA (confidentiality, integrity, non-repudiation, availability, access control); and security testing
    • One (1) year experience, within the past five years, with component validation of security devices, solution integration, and enterprise boundary security cutover efforts, and successful design of an IA boundary solution within the customer environment
    • One (1) year experience, within the past five years, in creation of firewall rule sets from analysis of network traffic
