  • Position Description


    Administers and monitors contract performance on government contracts in coordination with the contracts lead. May assist with the negotiation and administration of agreements between the company/customers/subcontractors/vendors ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures.

    Duties & Responsibilities


    • Works with Contract Lead to administer and monitor contract performance on government contracts
    • Provides support for the negotiation and administration of agreements between the company/customers/subcontractors/vendors ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures
    • Responsible for reviewing standard contract solicitation terms, handling contract award confirmations, interpreting agreement terms and conditions and identifying potential issues, reviewing agreement amendments / modifications and incorporating changes under the advisement and direction of the Contracts Lead
    • Reviews contractual documents to ensure adherence to company policy, government specifications and requirements, identifies risks and areas of concern on contract terms and conditions
    • Responds to standard inquiries regarding contract obligations and revisions
    • Assists/supports fulfillment of contract deliverables
    • Assists in proposal preparation for customer requirements
    • Monitors contract performance and cost controls and ensures compliance with contract terms
    • Assists in preparing routine teaming agreements, NDA;s, MOU’s, commercial and consultant agreements and other contractual agreements
    • Under direction, prepares contractual documents, including the preparation of contract terms and conditions, and assembles contract documentation package
    • Participates in management review of proposals/contracts and in the conduct of program reviews
    • Supports, communicates, reinforces and defends BRIDGES’ mission, values and culture
    • Maintain effective internal and external customer relations
    • May assist in the preparation of export license applications
    • May assist with subcontract negotiation and management
    • Perform special projects as requested 


    Skills & Qualifications

    Qualified candidates for the Pricing/Contracts Administrator position must have:


    • Bachelor’s Degree in Business.
    • 5-7 years of experience in contract administration/management and pricing for government contracts.
    • Basic understanding of contract/Purchase Order terms and conditions and detailed knowledge of the government contracting process including sole source and competitive procurements
    • Strong knowledge and experience with managing ID/IQ, FFP, FFP/LOE, FFP/LH, T&M and Cost Plus contracts
    • Strong knowledge of contract laws and regulations, generally accepted accounting standards, and federal cost principles.
    • Knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations Supplement (DFARS)
    • Strong negotiation, team-building and verbal/written communications skills.
    • Knowledge and thorough understanding of proper drafting, negotiation and use of contracts, subcontracts, P.O.’s teaming and other forms of agreements.
    • Membership in National Contract Management Association (NCMA) and CPCM certification desired
    • Advanced experience using Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft, PowerPoint, Adobe and MS Outlook (or similar email application).
    • Experience with using Deltek Costpoint preferred.
    • Strong desire to learn and grow professionally while having a lot of fun.
