Position Description

Title of Position: Project Manager 3 

  

 

The Level 3 Project Manager shall possess the following capabilities:

 

  • All tasks of the Level 2 project manager not performed at Level 2 due to the size and/or complexity of the project.
  • Provide guidance and direct tasking for Level 0, 1, and 2 project managers if any are assigned to the project
  • Rapidly assemble and execute focused cross-disciplinary Government/Contractor teams to address urgent or unexpected cost, schedule, or technical program/contract issues.

 

 

 

Education and Experience Required:

 

  • The Level 3 Project Manager shall have a Bachelor’s Degree in a Computer, Business or Math related field.
  • Twelve (12) years of experience as a program or project manager in managing projects and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required.
  • Shall have at least one (1) year of demonstrated experience in conducting requirements analysis, resource allocation, project costing, deliverable tracking, schedule and financial data monitoring, and reporting.
  • Shall be knowledgeable of the guidelines provided by the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS), DoD 5000 series, and Intelligence Community Directive (ICD) 801 policies.
  • PMP certification, FAC-P/PM Mid-Level certification or Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA) Level 2 certification in Program Management certification is desired, although not required.

 

 

Clearance Requirement:

  • TS/SCI with Polygraph
