Position Description

Title of Position: Helpdesk Specialist II


Description of Position: 


*Respond to service requests/queries that originate by phone, email, web-based portals, etc. Keep customers appraised of ticket status
*Read, write, and implement standard operating procedures and technical documentation
*Test ticket implementation to ensure that customer requests and requirements are being implemented correctly
*Provide training for organizational customers on use of related services and tools
*Interface with customers to research and define requirements, translate requirements into code, and perform customer testing/acceptance


Education and Experience Required:


*Associate’s Degree +2 years experience or Bachelor’s Degree
*Excellent written and verbal communication skills
*Proficiency in MS Office
*Strong attention to detail
*Skilled at prioritization and multi-tasking


Clearance Requirement:

  • TS/SCI with Polygraph
